agreed market for veg I get a huge bag for a quid of most things about a third tesco price and half price later in the day too.
LIdl/aldi best all round but increasingly Sainsburys getting to be one of the cheapest for some items.0 -
Jenner aldi is just like lidl, if you like having a dessert then the frozen ones sold by aldi are pretty good and 1 is a plum tart and theres another with rhubarb in it.0

Looking at the Sun/NOTW comparisons, I notice quite often that the ALDI/LIDL price is for a significantly larger pack size. Therefore, they are artificially raising the price in their calculations.
For example, one week, they took a 50p/250g bag of pasta for Tesco and compared it to a 3kg bag in LIDL, which was 99p.
It's like the usual price per 100g/price per kilo/price per unit confusion, where they make it impossible to compare prices on their shelves, trying to direct you to the highest profit margins...I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
