Tesco Food Club - 'How To' video Guides

Hi all,

First of all - this post has been approved by MSE Andrea so long as it's the only message of its kind I post.

Next, I wanted to let you know about the launch of Tesco Food Club site. Some of you may well have seen the competition here but there is a lot more to this site.

In the run up to Christmas, they are trying to lessen the stress in the kitchen by creating a number of 'how to' video guides along with downloadable guides etc.

Amonst other things, here you can learn how to:
  • Carve a turkey
  • Cook a whole salmon
  • Make a great White stock
I thought you guys would like it as it does allow you to save money by getting the most from your Christmas food or by actually making it yourself rather than going for the shop-bought stuff. To some of us, this may seem obvious, but to others a bit of guidance is always useful. When I carve a roast chicken I don't have the first clue where to start other than making sure the knife is nice and sharp!

Enjoy!

Just watched the young chef prepping veg.

Lovely guy and very easy to follow BUT I found my self shouting 'Hang on a minute - don't you DARE throw those veg trimmings away'. I'd have had a pan of soup out of those ;).
