ok i know this is off topic, but is it just me or does anyone think december is one of the most depressing months of the year? I love xmas n stuff but there's always so many car crashes and people dying, it always seems to happen around christmas

Oh i know it's awful. I remember one christmas when I was younger I was in the local shop with my mum and there was an old lady in buying a turkey roast dinner ready meal for her xmas dinner, cos her husband had died and all her family lived down south so she wasnt going to the hassle of cooking a xmas dinner for herself, we just wanted to take her home with us but she would probably have thought we were mad!

My dads birthday is few days before Christmas Day but was killed in a hit and run accident when i was 17...It is very sad every year for me but thankfully the kids take my mind off it...I understand what you mean though and totally agree with Always Harrased...I'm exactly the same...I would have anyone to dinner if they have no one...especially the elderly...:o

Sorry to hear that happened to your dad. It's all so sad :(

There was a car crash near here Monday and the boy who died was only 20. To make it a million times worse, his mum died on the 12th november from cancer. He was going to work when it happened and it was his first day back at work since his mum died. He was an only child as well, feel so so sorry for his dad :(
