I dont know if this is the right place for this and if not then please move.

Basically my brother and his girlfriend have got a new sofa being delivered soon which they have got on a 0% interest credit agreement.

However as none of them can get credit my dad went with them and took the credit out for them on the understanding that they were to give him what it costs each month. (I think its about £60 for 12 months).

Now she has kicked my brother out and so they will not be paying the money to my dad as agreed.

Can he call up the sofa company and explain the situation and tell them he no longer wants the sofa or as he has signed the credit agreement is he going to have to pay for a sofa he doesnt actually need?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

oh dear- big mistake- never ever take something out for someone else- the only person who is liable is the person on the contract- he is liable to pay for all of it and is legally bound to do so.
