Hi I am just trying to get use to all this (or should i say just started admitting all this). I was wondering about this cliaming back bank charges. I have paid massive amounts over last six years. I have tried reading consumer page but still not sure if i qualify and what are the risks? Sorry again if this has been asked numerous times!

For gods sake this has been asked loads of times before!
Only kidding! It is pretty daunting to get your head around. Have you read the Q&A on the consumer action forum. I had to read them a few times to get my head around.
You can claim back any charges incurred for not having suffiecient funds when a direct debit is requested or taken and the fees you are charged for being overdrawn including interest. You cannot claim for any account service fees where you pay for example £10 a month to have "extras" with your account!
Hope this helps!0 -
