  • I don't feel I am doing anything wrong - it's just survival now, whichever way it's done, as long as it is legal.
What frightens me about these things is that reason seems to fly out of the window at the drop of a hat, and the sheer speed at which they move to clobber you!
So it becomes a fencing duel without need.
Will listen to what you have said - whichever way you go, it's a risk.
    Cheers

    DT

Mate lenders can be as nice as you want, until you cannot make a payment then you see their 'real' behaviour. Just stop worrying and forget morals, the lender doesn't have any so why should you?

I'll be back later to look at your last post. :D

I was so surprised to see a company suggest that the limitation priod ran from the default date, not the last time you acknowledged the debt.

Then I saw it was Cabot :rotfl:

LOL, exactly they are a bunch of cowboys - really they are! :rotfl::rotfl:

I have their version of a forgery as well, i.e. an agreement they totally made up using photoshop - that is my ace card if they get too clever!

  • Hi again NID,

Hope this makes more sense this time!

Much better mate - but already worked out what you have, i.e. 3 cards (2 Varclays & 1 Crappy1) :D
    Debts
Mortgage –priority – up to date
Excellent - don't fall behind with the mortgage lol
Secured Loan – priority – up to date
    As above - well done
    Unsecured Credit: Credit Cards: Barclaycard by 2 - 1985 & 1996
Probably both be unenforceable, knowing them!
Capital One – One card - Dec 2005
Similarly, if they bother to reply they will not send the agreement but instead a silly threat - you'll see loads of the same Crappy1 letters on here :rotfl:
(Two bank overdrafts – see my earlier post – these now disappear from view!)
Are they over 6 years old or something? But regardless, you cannot CCA them

See my red comments next to your text above.....
    Barclaycard
Send the following letter back to Barclaycard - one for each account: 4. CCA Dispute

    Capital One
See what happens, give them about 3 weeks in total, let them default as it helps you if things get messy (i.e. they did not respond in time).... Post back when you hear from Crappy1

    Payments
Stop making payments now, no more - until such time they send compliant agreements then the accounts (all 3 of them) are unenforceable.
