Or really desperate to delay responding while they 'hunt' for an actual agreement.

Lets hope I get the same reply form my Barclaycard Visa, suspect i will as I've had the Visa since 1985 and the Mastercard since 1990.
  • I was wanting to put in a cca request.....

Is it worth doing it now or am I better to wait to see what the outcome is with these test cases?

No, go for it - the test case won't affect you applying for a CCA :D:D

Thats pure dumb. Mine CCA query letter mentions the account number once right at the top in bold. if they send that letter i will be angry. no excuse. I would re-wrtie the same letter. with a additional paragraph at the top stating (in better words obviously)that you cleary stated the account number, and attempts to stall for time will not be appreciated and will just be of deterance to the case. then additionally say that u would like to remind them of previous cases that have been written off because the creditor (barclay) wasnt able to supply them with the orignal CCA. and enclose a letter to prove it. (i have my friends dad's one that was written off!)!!

Hi Nid, I will send letter on Monday.
How are, did you have a good Christmas?

Have had a chance to get to grips with the results of last weeks hearing?

There's a lot of talk about it here.

im not sure bout doing that. as it will elongate the process. they will finally find your account, then back to step 2.

im very dissapointed about the results of them hearings!! worried about barclay wanting to go court.

I would just like to wish Mercers DCA a Happy Christmas from me after ringing my daughter on Boxing Day (!) then, after she passed them to me before going through ANY ID checks, trying to discuss her Account ....with ME!

I admit the idiot on the phone may have been taken back by the blasting he got from me about the call timing and the fact that they are only supposed to contact by letter, but......!

So its letters to the OFT and the Information Commissioner :D.

    Happy New Year to ALL.

Never whisper when its time to shout!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !
