found the answer, when you take the tab out of the back, you then have to put it back in to take it out again to hear it rant

you don't need to keep putting the tab back in, to get the fanimal to shout you can 'throw' it or just shake it. Sometimes you need to throw or shake it quite hard tho.

i won a few of these via text the ref game seems impossible and gave them away to family and friends but i had to keep one for myself there so funny. my fave saying is my nan's harder than that and she's pork pate.
