Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

Thought this might be useful to anyone who has annoying oily/combo skin like mine. I've tried so many different foundations, including pricey ones, and they all just gradually slide off my skin leaving me shiny and constantly powdering my face.

I noticed rimmels new liquid stay matte on special offer in Boots and thought I'd give it a go. Been using it for a couple of weeks or so now and it's fabulous!! :jI was dubious at first as it seems so thin (I had been using a mousse foundation), but it does exactly what it says on the tin. It lasts all day, and my shine has gone! It doesn't feel heavy, doesn't clog my pores, and I know it's early days but my skin just seems to look better.

I can't recommend it highly enough, and at such a low price it's well worth trying if you've got oily skin. I'm going to buy the pressed powder and see if that is as good.

Oh yeah forgot to say, another plus point - it doesn't contain talc or parabens.

Thank you, I tried this too and really liked it I also bought the pressed powder and thought it was very good, not too heavy or cakey, I also used the powder with another foundation when I was in the mood for a dewy look and it just took the edge off the shine without making it chalky:)

Oooh thanks glowgirl, I'm off shopping today so will definitely buy some powder and stock up on the foundation while it's still on offer.
  • Oooh I may have to buy some this weekend and give it a try thanks :)
