I thought I was paying over the odds when I managed to haggle the Dover B&B down from £38 per night to £30 per night earlier this week! :rotfl:
Loads of hotels offer B&B for £45 per night all the time - is there something really special about Holiday Inns that I wasn't aware of?
Maybe I'm missing something here...Thanks to all who post constructively.

Firstly Holiday Inns are part of a recognised chain unlike the usual local B&Bs. Some people prefer booking with known hotels that are part of a world-famous hotel chain - in this case The Intercontinental Group.
Secondly, they offer reward programmes in the form of points that can be used across the chain at hotels like Crowne Plaza etc. Their programme - Priority Club - is a repeat offender at winning awards.
Thirdly, if you check for outside of these ''offer'' dates you'll see prices are much higher.
So basically this is just a heads up for those that would like to know if it. It doesn't have to be for everyone
