Live Chat Operators

I would like a job as a part-time "live chat operator"

But I am struggling to find companies that do this.
You know the sort of thing, you want to buy a web site or something like that, and you have some questions, most companies have a "live chat" facility.

I am presuming the people actually don't work for the company as such and work for some central "live chat" agency, but I just can't find any info without getting sex industy whcih I don't want.

Anyone get any ideas?

Most of the live chat I have spoke to seem to work for the company I am speaking with ...Well they have access to my account details and I can't see those being farmed out without masses of fraud going on.

i really wish martin wouldnt not lie and say sex chat operators earn 10 pound a hour cos that is bloody rubbish im one and dont get anywere near that , its hard work for little money and i pay tax and insurance doing my job so please please told build the job up

Hmmm-not sure where Martin says that sex chat operators earn £10 an hour,but some of us do earn that (and much more besides!)
I will say though-it is hard work,it isn't for everybody,and you have to know what you're doing,what you're talking about and build up regular callers.
The turnover of chat operators is high as lots of people assume it is easy work,and that you can watch tv,read a magazine while moaning and groaning......you can't-well,not if you want to earn a good living from it!

You will only get to speak to a live chat operator for that company if you actually work for them

Your best bet is to find a company who does web design or the industry your looking for and contact them if they have any jobs going.

Or do a google search for Web Hosting Live Chat (or similar)

It is unlikely you'll find a job in the UK doing this, as everything like this is outsourced to the far east as they work for much less. Much less, being less than the UK's NMW.

You will find that not very many men are required in this industry, however if your willing to talk dirty and use false voices you might get certain companies employing you.

If your female however,one of the best companies around for jobs with a quick set up are LiveLines uk,they operate the lines for the vast majority of the Sky adult channels and also they are the largest advertiser within the many different uk newspapers
