Aviva/Norwich Union Bonus Statements

Every year for 20 years now I have had a Bonus Statement - re my endowment mortgage - from Aviva (and their various predecessors) - usually in June. I have so far received no Bonus Statement this year. I wrote to Aviva and they have informed me today that "they are currently unable to issue bonus statements". How can a major company like Aviva be unable to issue something as basic as a Bonus Statement??? What is going on? Has anyone esle had a similiar problem?

They have been working on their computer systems recently bringing legacy plans onto newer systems. Some plans have effectively being going offline (for want of a better word). I have a few plans on my books that cant generate values at the moment but will be able to soon.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Isn't it a requirement to produce an annual statement, dunston ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Yes it is on most plans (but not all). However, the system being temporarily unavailable to give out information for a few days has no impact on the sending out of statements.
They should be able to issue a copy of the one that sent in June that the OP didnt receive.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
