Firstly I am a complete lurker on these boards but now feel the need to write and say thanks to every one of you who post.
After just over a year I have wiped all my debt :j , nothing extreme like some of the posts but the total was almost £ 9500 on a variety of loans and credit cards.
I have read many pages here and used quite a lot of the tips and it has not been easy but with switching to 0% cards and being cheeky on the phone to companys such as T-mobile , the AA and my car insurance have really helped save a considerable amount every month, I found this really difficult at first.
The use of ebay whilst selling old items which i considered junk helped to raise almost £450.
My biggest thanks go to my girlfriend who has been very forgiving of me constantly saying I have only got £40 days after getting my monthly pay, (at one point she thought I was making debts up to avoid paying for household items) and for constantly paying for a lot of things by herself.
To all of you still struggling I know how difficult it is but it can be done.
Having finally gotten rid of my debts I have now promised to help saving up for our wedding next September.:A
Thanks to all who have unwittingly helped me.
