How long does home made pesto last?

Just a quickie. Made some yummy watercress pesto last night. I have some leftover and was going to have it with pasta tonight but will still have some left over. How long can I keep it in the fridge?

A few days as the oil will act as a preservative. Eventually, however, I think the watercress will start to deteriorate and the cheese will start to go off.
I would have thought up to a week would be OK. Perhaps longer in an airtight container (e.g. jar with screwtop lid).Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

Thanks for that. I shall use that for future reference as I don't think it's going to last that long tbh.;) It was scrummy with pasta tonight and I'll probably have it again tomorrow (I'm on my own at the moment, hubby cycling in Scotland and dd2 staying away tomorrow night
