Cahoot loan settled but no money taken...

I settled a loan I had with Cahoot a couple of weeks ago. I have since had paperwork confirming the loan is settled and the account is now closed. However, the money has still not come out of my bank. Does anyone know if this takes a while or have they just 'forgotten' to take the cash?
Also, if they have closed the account and later realise their mistake, can they re-open the account and chase me for the money?
Any help would be great, thanks.

I would suggest this may well be taken on your normal monthly payment date (if this has not already passed. If it has, as stated, they can still chase you for the money.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
