DVD Rental Trials

Good Afternoon MSEs

What are the secrets and tricks behind taking out more than one free DVD rental trial with the same DVD rental company i.e. LoveFilm, Screen Select. Does omitting the space between your postcode or using a different credit/debit card really work?

Many thanks

Have a niceday!

Before you cancel at one place, clear your list.
THEN, change your address on the account to something else (I usually use Buckingham Palace), and change your name if you can... (I use 'Elizabeth Queeny').
    Then, cancel.
If its lovefilm, call to cancel, saying your name is Elizabeth etc... Anyway, they cancel it, and thats that.

The trick is, the address they store on record is the Buckingham Palace address (to check you dont subscribe in future), and not the address you originally signed up with.
This means you can do it again no problems (and keep doing it).
If the Queen ever wants to do a DVD trial however, she will have no chance.
    My apologies your majesty.

Other tricks include using room numbers of your house, making out as if they are separate addresses. Use different names (spell slightly differently), different cards, phone number etc (although, you shouldn't really need to if you follow my first tip).

Personally, I think that too many people are abusing these peoples services (although, they make it rather easy). I usually make use of a 1 month trial, but then pay for the next one.
Lovefilm often offer me 2 months free if I pay for one, so I'll do that... but I do try and give them some money here and there.
However, with Quidco cashbacks, I haven't forked out much of my own money. Still, I don't want these places withdrawing the trial offers (or going bust) thanks to too many people like me.

Hopefully others will do the same and not over abuse. I am already close to the line, and could get them completely free if I wanted, but there comes a point when I just see it as fraud/theft.
