Reading through the posts - if you decide to take a forman style grill remember that caravans usually use lower voltage. The grill will be OK as long as you don't have any other electric going.
This from experience of my son who was in our caravan 4 weeks ago and at 8.30pm we had an SOS phone call as the power had blown and where was the trip switch????
We bought our lower voltage kettle, toaster, TV slowly over time usually at car boot.
Also bought microwave and small hoover from Argos last year - very reasonable
    Enjoy your caravan

    Hello Judi:hello:

The previous post about Oat Cakes has prompted me to tell you about my breakfast substitute (naughty I know:o ) when I'm dashing off to work.

Asda are currently selling these on offer (roll back price), a pack of 6 bars for £1. Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Oat Baked Bars are in two flavours, I buy the cherry flavour.;)

They taste gorgeous and are really filling.:D They'd be ideal to take on a long car journey.

Good luck with the journey and hope you enjoy many happy hours in your caravan.

    Regards

    Nile

sorry for very late reply! Tortilla wraps - they can be bought in the bread and cakes sections of most supermarkets costing about £1 for 6! Dead tasty!!:T

Or for an alternative, you could try staffordshire oatcakes - like pancakes, not biscuits, as wraps. Double up as wonderful additions to a fry up, if you decide to use your fry-pan too.

Sorry, not too much help if you don't live in the Midlands - unless you feel adventurous and google for the recipe (Evening Sentinel one is about the best).

    Regards,

    White.
