Has anyone heard of IPP Global in Spain, they are promising to re negotiate any mortgages in spain and half the monthly payments. They are asking for a fee of 1200 euros, which makes me wary, payable when their 'solicitors' have checked all the details?? Mmmmmm...

Avoid. If they were any good they should be prepared to take their fee from any settlement. They offer a refund subject to T & C - which they conveniently don't list.0

Yes, thanks, I checked out their web site and it did say subject to terms & conditions, which i couldnt find.0

Hi
I too have had a phone call from these guys offering to lower my mortgage.
They quoted 1000 euros up front for legal fees and then 500 euros on completion.
Not too sure on this one??
Can anyone else shed any light on them.
Thanks

Hi
I have also been approached by IPP Global and they have said that they will go for a target interest rate of 1.79%-2.29% on my current spanish mortgage, but they want 1,000 euro upfront for the solicitor to take my case to director level with the mortgage lender then if succesful their fee is 500 euro. They do say that if it cannot be done i'll be refunded 65% of the initial 1,000 euro.Has anybody had any experience with this company?

Hi.
Yes I was approached last year. I'm currently paying just over 500 euros a month with Santander at a rate of 3.67%.
Like you they told me they could get the rate right down.
They could well save me money but like someone mentioned above, if they are that great they should be happy to take a final payment.
I wasnt happy enough to part with 1000 euros to take the risk I'm afraid.

It'll be an absolute con.
I would love to sit here all day offering people a 65% refund on 1000 euros for something I COULDN'T do !!
Take cheque for 1000 euros. Bank for as long as possible (until you got shirty) . Do nothing. Collect interest. Send back 650 euros to "customer" who is now grateful to get something back ! Brilliant.
Just for your information you can get a 3d TV from the same office.

I handed over 1000 euros to IPP Global last March 2010. They promised they would find me a Spanish mortgage quickly at a much better rate than any I could find in the UK and assured me that an interest -only mortgage would be easy to find. 9 months later and y IPP have not been able to come up with any suitable Spanish mortgage.
I requested my 650 euros back from them, as set out in my contract. On 13th December 2010 they emailed me with a reply saying they will refund 65% of my fees(650 euros) when they close my case at the end of December.I am still waiting.............
If I receive any favourable news from them I will keep you posted.0
