Having bored senseless everyone I know about how to go about paying off debts and showing off my retentively filled-in budget book at every available opportunity, I've had a success of sorts... Nothing to do with my own debts, but something I didn't expect nonetheless...
... a colleague at work quietly sidled up to me and said 'you know how you know all that debt stuff, i'm struggling to pay off mine, do you have any advice?'
Do I ever? Not sure said colleague was quite ready for the onslaught of information... but it just shows how we should all shout about it and spread the word, it DOES get through to people!
