why would you need 2k in 24 hours, is it to pay another loan shark off?

I took out a lloydstsb loan and the money was in my account the same day, lots of loan co's do this.

What can be so important you need it so quickyl.

Barclays can give you a decision and the money in your bank the same day, if you apply in a branch. This may only be for their own customers though.

There are probably one or two lenders around who will lend at very short notice, but you will be paying 100%+ APR and the small print will read "Your kneecaps will be at risk if you do not keep up repayments on your loan or any other items secured on them"......
