Debtbegone's Debtbusting Diary

I've avoided the internet for most of today, my parents were cleaning out the loft and took down a few boxes with my name on them so spent ages going through them. Completely random stuff I'd boxed up before going off to Uni, had a blast going through it and found more stuff to sell
also found stuff that I thought had ended up getting thrown away so was well chuffed.
Listing on ebay now, have masses to try and work my way through so I don't have to take it all to the new place! The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

I think a lot of people are clearing their lofts recently! I found my old brownies gear lol! that brought back memories!
Always good to find more stuff to ebay! I'm having a night off tonight from ebay. will start again tomorrow
Keep up the fab work!0 -
Ours got sorted through for that insulation scheme thingymajig, quite glad about it now, even though my current bedroom will probably get wrecked when they head up. My room's so tiny and filled with furniture that it's difficult just turning around let alone hauling insulation through there
Hehe, I never went to brownies but did go to Girls Brigade with our red polos and juicy hats :rotfl:
Spent tonight photographing stuff for listing. Going to get what's been paid for wrapped up just now ready for sending off when the post office opens again tomorrow, then back to the listing again after work tomorrow evening.

no rest for those in debt indeed! getting a week off work soon and a colleague was saying how he's off on holiday for a week.....whereas i'm going to spend it on ebay! lol! oh dear.
14/24 items ending tonight have bids...uhh the part i hate most about ebay is the packing! this is going to take forever!0 -
Ahh, holidays. I had my first non-working break away last October and ended up putting it on the credit cards
and still paying for it now.
I think I'm going to start wrapping stuff up as soon as it gets a bid on it, write the item on the package where my label's going to go. That way when I get the urge to go on a massive listing spree I don't have all the wrapping at the end. Today took me all morning to wrap up the ebay items for the long weekend.
Going to take a break from ebay tonight and get a load of books listed on amazon I think, should be a bit easier than listing the random bits I've got for ebayingThe debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

That's me got 20 items on Amazon now
Going to pop them up on ebay, possibly greenmetropolis and play too but don't want to confuse myself too much with de-listing items if they sell, hmmm might do up a wee grided list to keep me on track.
Might take the rest of the night off to reward myself :rotfl: if there's anything decent to watch on tv, oohh have a new lovefilm dvd to watch too, fab!The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

its so much easier to list on amazon!i've never had a sale on there tho.
is it sad that i'm slightly excited by the free ebay listings this weekend. lol. need to get out more me thinks!0 -
I hope not, I actually shouted woohoo!
Think I'm still going to crack on with listing over the next couple of days too with my lower value bits then spend Saturday & Sunday listing my sisters higher value stuff.
The last time I was listing on Amazon I had quite a few sales, most of the stuff listed last night will give only me around 30p after postage and fees if they sell but I'm thinking there's no harm in giving them a whirl.
I should really be working right now not browsing the forums, oops! The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

Ooohh, you gotta love ebay. Sold a brand new item of clothing, size, brand etc as stated. Buyer requested a return as soon as they'd got it, didn't say why but I was fine with the return. As soon as it arrived back I issued them with a full refund (came back unused, as was sent out, and posted back using works account printed postage I might add)
This was over a month ago and today I receive neutral feedback from them as the item was "bought and returned as the item was too small" How the flip is that my fault? AND they got a no hassle return & refund .
Goes without saying that they've got less than 50 feedback  Going to be so glad when I no longer have to use ebay as a way to make dosh
In saying all that though I'm a bit peeved by it, but nowhere near as p*ssed off as I used to get with flipping idiots like that, I might just be getting somewhere with my ebay buyer rageThe debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time
