Still not heard fro the OR about weather we will have a IPO or a Bro but between us we only have £116 a month left over and thats only because its our child benifit any one have any idea if they will take some or all of this? Our Or has also told us to applly for family tax credits i belive its about £540 a year?Dont know if we should or not wont they just take that??AS for life well its better in most ways no letters threats or phone calls except 3mobile driving me mad they call 3 times a day i dont want there darn phone why wont people jus listen??
For everyone out there it can get better just get the right advice If we had spoken even just to you guys 2 years ago we would not have had to go bankrupt Dont let fear cripple you lots of people have debts they just cant manage its not the reason that matters its what you do about it that counts try everything you can Before you go bankrupt!

Thanks for the good advice.
Good luck.:grouphug: Things can only get better.0 -
if the household surplus is below £100 you are unlikely to pay an IPA. If your first interview was over 3 months ago and you have not heard anything about either BRO or IPA I would suggest both are unlikely. If your cas eis suitable for early discharge the IPA decision wilbe reviewed, the OR will send you another income and outgoings questionairre. Do not include child benefit as income: that is not assessable income, but tax credits are so include those.0

many thanks for your advice Addicted2Chocolate so i just need to put down the £42.08 that we will get in family tax credits and exclude the child benifit of £116 a month?
our average surplus was the child benifit money only so yes hopefully we wont have to pay ??
we are both trying to get better payed jobs and do realise that if we do we will have to pay but thats only fair if we have money left over!
Do you think we might get an early discharge then??0 -
if there is no misconduct (eg gambling, obtaining credit when no prospect of paying back etc) then you should get early discharge. only people who are being investigated further do not get a E.D. you could always ring and ask ?....0

dont think im brave enough to phone and ask to be honest!!! WE sold our house few years back and spent all £40,000 paying back to creditors we did not use any credit cards from june 05 and went bankrupt feb 06 we had not got into missed payments but has simply lived beyond our means the credit cards in the end were being used to rob peter to pay paul thats why we used the money from the house to stop that in the end though through being to scared and stupid to get advice we had no other option!I hope we don t get a BRO0

Looks like your doing well paul10mm. Just to let you know I had same problem with 3. Took me 6 months to finally stop them ringing. But then 8 months into BR got a letter from a DCA about the alledged £20 debt with 3. Took great delight in telling them I was BR.0
