Aberdeen Scrap Metal

Anybody know of a place in Aberdeen that will buy scrap metal? Have just bought a new house and there's an ancient cast-iron roll top bath. Not in great condition so doubt it would be usable as a bath again, but not sure if anybody actually buys these things for scrap recycling.

Phoned Panda Rosa Metals - they would come and collect it, but won't pay anything. The bath weighs an absolute ton - took four of us to move it out of bathroom!

you will only get something for it if you take it to the scrappy yourself,unless you do actually have tons then they will collect and give you cash.

I really doubt if anyone will pay to scrap it for you if they pick it up. What you could try is in Scot Ads for a price. It is free to try. If not freecycle it and at least it goes to some one to use not scrap. They can always be sand blasted and then refurbished.
