Does anyone know if they have started doing the Japanese Washing granules again - they were fantastic but haven't seen them for years and years. Thanks0

Hey, I used to work for the Body Shop. They give out free sample pots (although these have been made smaller) and usually have instore offers on such as 3 for 2 on skincare and the like. If it's not too busy or you book in advance they will give you a free makeover (if you can bear the sales chat!) and whenever at the till always ask if there are any freebies going, usually something tucked behind the counter!0

Yes! I've gotten several freebie samples from them. You just have to ask about a product and say you'd like to try it before buying a large amount of it to see if you like it first. It helps if you're already buying something or they know you've bought from them before though.0 -

Last time I went to Lush I went prepared - took a large paper bag with me plus some of those yellow bags they put stuff in, to reuse them! The assistant said I could have free samples because I recycled - I got Smitten hand cream and Figs & Leaves SoapSealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

hmmm Japanese Washing Granules - I miss them!
I saw on another thread last night that someone uses aduki beans (?sp), ground up, as these are what was in the Japanese Washing Granules. I think they put them in a coffee grinder then sieve to get a finer powder and then use in the same way. I cant for the life of me remember what thread it was though.
However................I had quite a lot of wine last night before I went online so I cannot guarentee that this s 100& accurate!:beer:0
