Solicitors for house sale

Hi, anyone have recommendations for a good (efficient) but reasonably priced solicitor for handling conveyancing on the sale of our house (abt. £160,000 is sale price in the Belfast area)? I have had some stupid quotes up to about £900 plus VAT and was expecting it to be much cheaper than this...any help appreciated.

Hi, David Gaston is the best one I know of. I have been using him for years. If you use him for your conveyancing, ask him to do your will for free? He is very obliging, tell him George Best sent you. 73 Holywood Road Belfast.

it pays to shop around .I got 3 quotes last year .One was 1.25% one was 0.75% one was 0.5% .Guess which one I took .

Fisher and Co Sandy Row Belfast have done my conveyancing for 400 + vat. Also Donnelly and Kinder Adelaide Street ( I have connections!!) tell them Cathy Kelly from ANGU sent you.
