can tax credit be used to get a loan??

;)Evening everyone,

Just a quick thought can banks accept tax credit as a regular form of income when applying for a loan??

I hope it was not a lumber puncher my misses back has not been right from hers and its sill pain full for her to move. Iv told her to go form physio as a bad back at only 20 it not good.

    Hope you get well soon.
  • It's strange that everyone has said no as i am on a low income and applied for a loan with my bank and it appeared that they did accept it as income otherwise i would have not been eligible for loan. my tax credits are far more than my monthly earnings

dont know if different rules apply if that is the only income however?

I have to disagree with the fact that tax credits can't be taken into accoutn when applying for a loan - most banks will take it into account as regular income along with child benefit for loans and mortgages -
