Sainsbury's Bank....can anyone help??

I have a mortgage with Sainsbury's Bank, which I've had for 6 years. Wrote to them last week asking about fixed rates and additional funds (both of which I've had with them in the past) and their reply said that they had "temporarily stepped back from the mortgage market" and were unable to help. Anyone know anything about this and what I can do? (Not sure about moving lenders as my financial situation has changed, so not sure anyone else would give me a mortgage at the moment). Thanks

    Hi DB

First things first, what sainsburys are saying is true but, are you tied into the mortgage with them?

No...I'm on their standard rate at the moment, so not tied in at all

Then your only option is to remortgage with another lender. If you post some more details I will be able to help you.
