Storing all your Crafty Bits and Pieces

How do you store yours??
Currently mine is in an array of different storage boxes, in various wardrobes around the house. I keep fabric in a small suitcase in another wadrobe, and I have 'handy boxes' full of flowers, ribbons, beads etc stacked in a corner of my bedroom. It's all tidy, but it's a pain trying to remember the location of various things.
We are hoping to build a double floor extension to the house in the next couple of years, I have sweet talked hubby into costing an attic conversion at the same time, in the vain hope of getting myself a craft room.
So, I would like to know how everyone stores their stuff. Who is lucky enough to have their own room (I am so jealous if you have!:D) anyone have pics? I'm looking for ideas.
I have been looking at this sort of thing:

I saw it in my cross stitch magazine last night. It would make life easier, but it's quite expensive once you include all the drawers. Back to the drawing board I reckon, unless anyone knows of any cheaper storage ideas.

i keep all my craft bits in storage boxes on a shelf in my wardrobe.
we just had an extention as i was going to have a craft room, but in the end we thought a kids play room would be better and once they have grown and no longer need the room i will then turn it into my craft room.0 -
^^I am the same - I will have plenty space once the kids move out.

I am lucky that I have a spare bedroom to work in.
But then, I have a BIG hobby - Nappy Cakes! Wish I had found something smaller like making Jewelery etc! LOL
I have a cupboard fitted out with wide shelves where I store finished cakes and all my stock in those big plastic storage boxes from Wilcos.
I also have 4 sets of plastic drawers (standing one on top of another) where I keep toiletries, labels Florist Ribbon etc.
Also have a pile of smaller plastic boxes from £shop wher I keep my ribbons.0 -
*louise* my youngest is nearly 19 months and we plan on having another 2, so will be a while for us yet, lol.
Having said that my kids love sitting at the dining table with me doing crafts so for the moment just storing the stuff while were not using it works fab for us. but it is nice seeing it all stacked up neatly in the wardrobe in boxes.0
