PRINGLES 99P FOR 2 Possibly free?

in It's gone, but was it any good?
hello all

I have just got back from tescos and they are doing pringles buy one get one free and they are only 99p at the moment.
I was there this morning and got 4 tubs for £1.98
However when I went to the till the offer didnt show up.
So I went to the till and got a £3.96 refund plus 4 tubs of pringles.

    I bought 4 boxes yesterday and the offer worked fine for me.

    I read somewhere that the offer was supposed to end yesterday so it appears your local tesco have forgotten to remove the labels.

    SEL at my Tesco still showing BOGOF, got to the till with 8 tubs, but person in front of me had spotted the problem, SA let me have them as BOGOF (manual imput) so had to pay for mine, but 99p for 2 tubs. Still, managed to get my Beef last Sunday for free!!!!!!

    My local Tesco had a big stack of these well away from the main display. Whilst i have not gone today, it may be worth remembering that with christmas coming, stores make bigger displays at prominent points.
    When it comes to offers ending they tend to forget sometimes about the extra display so on a wednesday morning you may get to find an offer thats ended but with the advertising still on, so like in the case of pringles you will get them free with DTD.

    Perranlady, you shouldnt have told the SA. You should have gone to customer service and you would have got double the difference back and your pringles effectively free.

    yesterday i got 2 tubes for 99p. couldnt believe when i saw the price- 99p each AND BOGOF.
