who will give us a loan for £3000 with credit score 796?

Hello
Just wondered if anyone can advise me about where I could get a loan/who best to apply for a loan with for about £3000? It would be in my husbands name. His credit score is currently 796 on Experian with no late payments/ccjs etc showing on it. We are on the electoral role but have lived at this address for less than 2 years. We have an overdraft of nearly £5000 and are paying of a loan at the mo from Welcome finance which was for £5300 (but a lot more as high interest rate) but have been paying it off on time every month since last December. He has a credit card with Capital One the balance is only about £80 and the limit on it has recently gone up from £500 to £1500. He is self employed. Considering these factors is he likely to get a loan? If so who would most likely lend it/ would have best offer? It is for buying a car - would it be best to apply for car finance with the dealer?

Your 'score' is meaningless as each lender scores/assesses in different ways.

How long has he been self employed and does he have audited accounts?
