When you click on the crossword link and it comes up with the grey box etc and you click ok does that mean you have entered the crossword as the crossword comes up after and its blank? The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0

Yes you have entered! People on here have reported winning the crossword who have only ever clicked the link:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Its easy to cheat on the World Cup, i have just made a geocities site (my details could easily be found from a whois on my domain name), as i dont want my account suspended or anything for telling people how to do it.
Put in a time you want, and submit, works a treat. All that was needed was to decompile the SWF file, then you find out how the score is passed from the flash to the PostScore.asp page. Then, its just simple HTML.

Doing the name, etc is a bit more complex, i wont bother with that
Why has Pigsback made it so easy for people to do this? It was mainly because there was an error because the code had not been fully tested before it was released, some of you may of seen the error message appear. Then it was just so obvious how the system worked, just an intermediate user could have worked out how to do this.0 -

Matt
I'm very impressed :T
I know that you're only trying to show Pigsback the shortcomings in their website, but what is going to happen now.
Will the game be suspended?
Or will pigsback have a record of the legit scores? I supose they'll have to trawl thru thousands to get the right ones.Mac0 -
Well if you look at the best scores list they are all won by "I am a cheater" so obviously PB know what you're up to!0

As was pointed out in a post I made earlier it is very easy to do. Some people make the mistake of thinking flash source code is secure. There are ways of preventing people from submitting their own score but the whole pigsback site is lame and there are more bugs in it than that.0 -
Oh well......
