Chocolate fudge sauce dessert ideas

Hi,

I have a jar of chocolate fudge sauce which is about to go out of date, so I was thinking of using it as a warm sauce to pour over some kind of dessert. However, I'm struggling to think what dessert would be best, so am looking for some ideas.

Ideally, I'd like to make something which can serve about 8-10 people, be made and frozen in advance, and which costs very little. I thought of chocolate brownies, but that might be a bit too chocolatey overall.

Aside from the fudge sauce, I would also like some general ideas for easy entertaining desserts which freeze well. I make loads of sticky toffee pudding and fruit crumbles, but am getting slightly fed up of them!

thanks, :D

hmmmmmm first thing which comes to my mind - you know those merangue nests? fill them with fruit then pour the choc sauce over and chill!!! or you could add it to bread and butter pudding. or use it as choc sauce dip for fresh fruit - sort of as fondue not fountain if you see what i mean!

How about poached pears, I would think that they would freeze well. Pear and chocolate is heavenly.
