Win a copy of Genesis -1981 -2007 The Movie Box.
Q1: The bands first US Top 10 single was...
Turn It On Again
Follow You Follow Me
Mama
Tricky one this, cos according to Wiki , it was "That's All", not any of the others in the comp.
I'm assuming it's a misprint and they actually mean UK, in which case it would be Follow You Follow Me. Although the comp blurb refers to Turn It On Again being a top 10 hit - which it was - in the UK!!!

EDIT: For some reason it won't let me type out the e-mail address. Try this and replace the "dots" with some real ones!! www(dot)thisdayinmusic(dot)com/pages/win_stuff
Good luck all!
Searched: Genesis & URL

Nicely confusing Beatlefan
I'd agree with Follow You Follow Me on the basis it was their first US Top 40 and their first UK Top 10 (so neatly covers both typo possibilities)
(from wiki)
Follow You Follow Me was from 1978 (from And Then There Were Three) and Turn It On Again was later, from 1980 (from the album Duke).
Is this when I confess I've got all these on vinyl and tape from my youth (my pre-Metallica loving days!)?0 -
Genesis established themselves as a more commercially-friendly outfit with the release of their 1978 album “And Then There Were Three”, finding their first US hit with the single “Follow You Follow Me”. Wikipedia relates to a Genesis album, not their full discography.0

The site was banned by MSE for continual self promotion. However, the competitions are genuine, so ok to post, however, as they were banned, then any link to that site will be blocked, hense the fact you need to amend the link manually yourself.0 -
"EDIT: For some reason it won't let me type out the e-mail address. Try this and replace the "dots" with some real ones!! www(dot)thisdayinmusic(dot)com/pages/win_stuff"
smart - the site was probably banned at some stage by MSE Towers. The site is ok, so is the comp.
Type out the address as above but putting real dots
> . (real dot
) instead of the word dot. It does work
EDIT: X posted with cat - but we are both saying the same thingWe could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0
