I wasn't sure where to start this thread, but I know that a lot of you are looking for way to make some extra cash and this might help. I'm sure the board guide will move it if they think fit.
Respondents are constantly needed for market research projects, and many market research companies use this particular company to find suitable respondents. I noticed today that they will allow you register with them, and they then contact you if there's anything you 'fit'. You can be paid anything from £10 - £100, for focus groups, one on one interviews, product testing etc. This is for all over the country.

At the bottom of the page they tell you how to go about it.
I have NO connection with the company at all and stand to gain no benefit, I just thought it might be helpful to someone.

I thought this might be relevent to those wanting to do some focus groups or research. You can still apply online.
Consumers were invited to sign-up to Indiefield’s “Consumer Directory” through mailouts, and then asked to complete a detailed lifestyle questionnaire.
Records are divided into postcode areas, and there are three levels of respondent type according to how much information is held on the individual.
‘Standard’ respondents for instance, only have to provide name and contact details and will be primarily used for online or telephone surveys, while ‘verified’ respondents have had their address details checked, making it easier to recruit them for face-to-face events.
Respondents signed up to the final category, ‘premier’, add a photo of themselves to their profile. Lyons said this provides a higher level of security for events such as car clinics, where concept models may be shown.
It also helps the agency guard against what Lyons calls “dodgy respondents” – those who give false information about themselves in order to take part in as many focus group or depth interviews as possible for monetary gain0 -
I signed up with Indiefield recently and am taking part in my first fieldwork research next week. 30 min interview on wearing glasses and contact lenses and I will get paid £30. Sign up was straightforward at https://www.indiefield.net and you can view current invitations to future research surveys, complete an online screener questionnaire and then get a call to ensure your suitability. I will let you know how I get on.My mantra is "Never pay full price!"0

Quick Update - I took part in the research on Wednesday which was great. The interview took 30mins and I just had to give my opinion on future packaging designs for contact lenses, really easy and I was paid £30 in cash on the day. I have just registered my interest in doing a telephone interview on their website which is also paying £30. Well worth signing up for some extra cash. My first bit of earnings went straight onto my credit card!My mantra is "Never pay full price!"0
