Excellent!
Head screwed on anyway!
(and the number of cheery emoticons in there shows that at least you're in ok form about it - Always look on the bright side of life and all that!)
Good luck!Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
CCCS funded by banks0 -
I'm a closet control freak. Taking action myself rather than letting B&E limp along with it makes me feel better:rotfl:
ETA: does this mean I'm right about being able to start a claim for unfair charges? Please tell me I am - I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they get that one!0 -
I'm not an expert on these things, but would the op be better off sending a SAR to B&E? Then she'd get all the paperwork from all her creditors.
Also, you should think about pushing your bank charge claim as a hardship case, they're not supposed to ignore those and if you're on a DMP then you're clearly in hardship.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Since legal action is being threatened, need to be sure of geting the CCA, default letter and termination letter. LTSB will have them, B&E may or may not.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Late home from work today and vvvv tired!

Is this one of those letters where I only print my name rather than signing?

stop paying a company todo work that the ccs or payplan will do for free meaning more money towards your debts. Not only this but creditors dont like you paying for help.0

If you read my original post you will see that I am already looking to sack debt management company.
However, a response to the solicitor's letter from LTSB is my main priority right now.0 -
Hi NannyOgg
I'm Nick and I'm a Director at Paymex Group, part of which is B&E. One of our major concerns at B&E is the way that some lenders and debt collection agencies continue to "harass" our customers even where an repayment agreement is in place and being adhered too. This is in direct contravention of the OFT debt collection guidance. We do all we can to get lenders etc to stop these practices, going as far as reporting firms to the OFT and getting our customers to speak to the press etc.
If you email me with your details I will ensure we investigate the issues you have raised. My address is nick.pearson@paymex.co.uk.0 -

Hi Nick. I might be wrong, but if you plan on posting in your official capacity you may need to speak to the MSE Team first. See http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/faq.html?faq=new_faq_item#faq_new_rules
Just thought I'd point it out in case you didn't know.Lightbulb moment March 2004 (Debt £55,000) & debt-free as of May 2007 (thanks to CCCS, and a remortgage to clear last £20,000).
Looking to the future!0 -
