If theres anything your cat refuses to eat, maybe take that along then? I'm sure they'd appreciate anything. What with the "a dog's for life, not just for christmas" thing from dog's trust.
That would be a good present for her then! Helps the centre pay for things too :)

Thanks Dorato, I have lots of baby blankets surplus to requirements! (Obviously not the tiny ones!!) :D
Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

They'd definately appreciate that and it'd free up some space for you too so definately a bonus :)
  • a couple of things i am planning to do with my kids (1+2) this year

i bought a pack of 30 big foam christmas trees from hobbycraft for £2.99. we will decorate them one day. the next day i will hide them all and get the kids to find them with a bag of chocolate coins/candy cane when they find them all. this can be adapted for older kids by having clues to find the trees

paper mache boxes are quite cheap in hobbycraft. we are going to get a few for the kids to decorate one day. the following day we will make chocolate rice crispy buns and pop them into the boxes. then the kids will give them out to the adults of the family.

erm... theyre was a couple more, but i cant remember now.

the toilet roll/cracker idea kept us amused for hours when we were kids, we always did this! i think my mum saved the tubes all year round as i remember we used to also make little chimneys out of them and turn tissue paper into a pair of trousers hanging out the top; looking like santas fallen in!
we also used to make easter, halloween and bonfire night decs out of them too! we didnt have much money as kids pmsl!

    Some fab ideas everyone ;)
My kids make snowflakes every year and literally cover the windows. The white snippets of paper drive me crazy but I love them taking such pleasure in making something for Christmas ;)
