Self employment whilst on JSA - help!

I need some help with this please as I can't get a straight answer from Business Link or JC+.

I am claiming JSA and want to do some self employemt. I know I can keep £5 per week and do under 16 hours work.

I know anything above £5 will be offset against my benefit but if I made, for example, £100 one week, could I keep it all, just not be entitled to JSA (I think they still pay NI)? I would be commission based and not have wage slips to show them - what would they want to see? Obviously I will keep accounts but one opportunity I would receive money from customers, buy the goods at a discount and what's left is mine. I can only show the JC a bank statement as proof.

Help please!

I don't want to jeopardise my benefit
