Surprised there aren't more responses to this. Looks like it's quite good. Thanks for the link to the reviews. USB host capability is interesting - presumably with a card reader you could transfer things like camera pictures.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

Looks good, unfortunately it looks like £7 for postage unless somebody knows of a way to get free postage?

    Cheers

    Hi John,

When I posted the player it was on the "today only" page so it was £7 cheaper (£83.41 including delivery). That's why I deliberately linked to the "today only" page rather than the item itself.

Now its not on that page the price has gone back up.

Seems a good deal esp with a line in, though the battery life doesnt that great when compared to the sony mp3 walkman i picked up in tesco for £85, is 35 hours.

    :)

One thing to note about the "today only" deals at Scan. It's a bit confusing. If you view the price on the "today only" page it shows the reduced price. When you click on "info" alongside the item it opens the item page but shows the non-reduced price. Clicking buy or add to basket on either page still puts the item into your basket at the lower price. Hope you see what I mean, try it.

    For example:

    5Gb Lavod MP3 player.

Price on "today only" page is: £88.13 inc vat
Price on actual item page is: £96.22 inc vat

When added to your basket it goes in as: £88.13 inc vat regardless of which way you buy it.
