Well said Relynutz :T - I really couldn't agree more. At the end of the day, we are ALL trying to save money or save up for something in life but greedy folk such as Lyndach who clearly only think of themselves immediately stops all the rest of us even attempting to secure any bargains:mad::mad:. Also Lyndach's use of the bold type infers gloating just to add further insult to injury:mad:.[/QUOTE]
Thanks for post OP. I agree there are a minority who ruin it for everyone else with their greed.0 -
Tesco are also doing great prices on their items - got a small halloween ball for 25p and found that it had been filled with marshmellows when I got home...or more realistic my little boy did. Loads of other stuff from 2p (fangs) to £1.50 - pumpkin filled with goodies, previously £10. Not sure if this is everywhere but definitely in Prestwich store.0

Went into Sainsburys tonight to buy some bits and saw the Halloween stuff reduced. Then noticed that TU has 25% off. I had some sale stuff so wondered if it would come off that and it did. The halloween stuff doesn't appear to be TU but I'm sure it came off this too as it said off 13 items, and only ten of the bits were TU. Think it meant that my halloween outfit was £1.50 (from £2) and the booties and t shirt were 37p (from 50p each)!!! Plus staff discount of 15%! Happy days.

Where to start. This site is all about either saving money, making what you have go further or make more money one way or another. The forum has sensible gambling threads, increase you income threads and how to save cash threads. If the people who buy cheap to sell on ebay take a chance good for them. At the end of the day the people who buy outfits 11months and 15days from now on ebay they will still probably pay less than the shops. Halloween is purely a retail spin to make cash, why not keep the cash in homes rather than the retailers.
Basically it isn't greed it's being clever and planning ahead. Rather than slate people for ingenuity, tell every one to subscribe to Martin's email. That way they make their own decision on how to save money.New PV club member. 3.99kW system. Solar Edge with 14 x 285W JA Solar panels. 55° West from south and 35° pitch.0
