Hi
I hope that this hasnt been posted before, apologies if it has, but does anyone know of the best place to get a cheap DAB digital radio.
Dixons.co.uk have a Matsui R100 for £49.99 (with £5.99 postage on top) it says its a stereo but there is no picture and I cant seem to find one on the net, seems a good price though, but does anyone know of any others of similar or cheaper prices?
Hope that you can help!
Thanks

My local Sainsbury's sells DAB radios for £49.99, but I've no idea how good they are I'm afraid.."I am not Geoff Vadar, I'm Darth Vadar"0

I spotted today that Robert Dyas were selling off the DAB radio the've been selling for £49.99 which is half price (Goodmans I think).0

argos have 2 at £49, an alba and acoustic solutions. A few weeks ago the had the pure evoke 1-xt for £50 but its back at £100 now :'(.
Also, if you hunt the online voucher board you should be able to find free postage from dixons and maybe even 5% off or similar.0 -
The Sainsbury's one got top marks in What Hi Fi magazine. Just bought one for the parents, and they're really pleased with it.0

Not the cheapest DAB but Boots have the Pure Bug DAB for £99.99, so you get your Boots points and I think they offer an extra 750 if you spend over £75.0

The Goodmans 1104 DAB Micro System ain't too bad, especially for the price - CD player and neat little chrome/glass stand. Not very powerful at 2 x 5 watts RMS but I've heard it in action and it's very clear on the radio with a slight hiss on the CD playback....got my vote anyways.
Go here to have a look.....

Homebase had DAB radios priced at £49.99 yesterday and everything in Homebase has a further 10% off today (Saturday), which would bring the price down to £44.99. I don't remember the make, Alba possibly? The radio also receives FM.Reed0
