I can't find anywhere where it says you're entered in to the prize draw by adding something to your wishlist.

I signed into my account, scrolled to the bottom of the page and clicked in wish lists in the "personalisation" section. It brings up a list of items, tick any of the boxes, and then "add to wish list" and you should get the following message:
You have added an item to your Wish List and therefore have been entered for a chance to win a £2,000 Amazon Gift Card in The Flavourhood on Amazon Sweepstakes. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Entry period 26/10/09 - 15/11/09. See official rules for details.

I didn't get the message either at first - the item I'd chosen wasn't from Amazon, I deleted that and chose another that was from Amazon and then got the message. HTH ;)

My item is despatched by Amazon & I was signed in to my account but I still didn't see any confirmation of entry.

I was already logged on but it's the same if you're not. On the top right hand side after you login, beside basket you see wish list...click that and you get a list of thing to choose. Click under the item "Add to wish list" then it shows up you've entered.

Wow I so want this! Fingers crossed!
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
  • Thanks OP! I'll have to start thinking of some shiny things to buy in case I win one of these :)

My wish list is about 3 pages long so was really easy to add more :D:D Greedy? Moi? Nah just skint.

Actually I get all my family to fill in these Amazon lists so I can choose something they actually want for Christmas but they still get a little surprise by not knowing exactly WHAT I've bought and I do the same (plus it's a good way to keep tabs on books people recommend me) My Dad uses them every year to get his pressies now :D
