on the plus side last time i went beer was too expensive to get properly drunk especially for a 16 yr old, as long as they stay off the pills then they should be fine.
Just make sure they know what to do if their tent gets nicked etc0 -
HI there, I went to T in the Park when I was 16 and to be honest drink is very expensive. We went to a supermarket not that far away to get drink, but didn't get that much because it was more about the atmosphere, seeing the bands and camping!! I think you should let him go, he will really enjoy it, I know I did! take a large carry out and drink as much of this as possible before entering the festival site and you will only need a few pints during the day to keep you topped up. that was our idea anyway, it usually ended up with us staying too long at the campsite and missing half the bands, but its not just about the bands, the folk you meet at the campsite make it aswell....work permit granted!0
