I wanna contacts by Friday - HELP!

I need some contact lenses by Friday - I have an up to date contact lense prescription (I know as it hasnt changed in 3 years) but havent got any proof as it was a free trial I didnt take up and they wouldnt give me the official prescription. Plus I have moved house since and it all got very complicated when I tried to prove it was my prescription as they also had got my DOB wrong!
So my question is this:
DO you know of any online contact lense suppliers who dont bother to check your prescription with the optician? I need mine for a party on Saturday - any help appreciated.

Have you tried the online companies mentioned in Martins article on contact lens?

I haven't looked myself but maybe one of these won't check?

    thanks bluekp.
The trouble is I wouldnt know if they check or not before I had put in the order - hence I'm relying on other peoples experience.
    Cheers for replying though :)

I may have misread your post , apologies if I have but I was a tad concerned that you do not have a current prescription and are relying on one from three years ago. Your eyes are such a valuable tool that you can not afford to take a chance . In your position I would pop to another optician and ask for an eye test with a view to purchasing contact lenses. Get the test done (Boots are doing ones for £9) and then ask to have a weeks free trial to see if you get on with them. I have Accuvue Moist Dailies and they are fab, however I only had them as a result of changing from Accuvue Dailies , when my Optician suggested my eyes were drying out.
As a result you will get your lenses for the party, an eye test with prescription, which you can then get lenses on line .

No, I DO have a current prescription - it's just that it hadnt changed in 3 years...I also had the contacts suitability check (even though I've been wearing them years) It's just that I cant prove it.
I dont live very near to an Optician so wanted to get them via the net that's all.
But I absolutely agree with your comments and thanks for the concern :)

    hi, try https://www.lensway.com.

I have used them in the past and they are considerably cheaper for my prescription. They are based in sweden but i usually get my lenses within 2-3days. They have a free phone number you can call too.

You just need to put in your prescription details for each lense and i think tick a box to confirm you have a valid prescription.

Brill, I've ordered them thanks. Lets hope they arrive in time, but if not at least I'll have them forthe next one and without all the prescription hassles
