Tesco - 3 for 2 on all Toys and Kids Books starts Fri 6 Nov

Does anyone know if its on in the Grimsby & Cleethorpes stores???..going to go later tonight when kids are in bed.

Makes me laugh when you ring up and they tell you its not on when clearly it is!...maybe they just dont want to be busy or have all the good stuff gone before their shift ends lol:rotfl:

For some reason this seems a very low key promo from Tescos.

I went to the very big (2 floors) branch in Purley. There were only 2 small aisles of toys and very low-profile signage saying 3 for 2 on toys and books. I bought 3 books and only when I'd left realised I'd been charged for all 3, though at an incorrect price for one of them. I took them back to Tesco in Thornton Heath with a view to getting them to refund the difference and they said they'd never heard of the promotion, that it must be only some stores and they couldn't refund the difference, so I had to get a refund on all 3 books. Not very impressive Tesco. I'm just gutted I wasn't quicker off the mark for last week's Sainsburys half-price on all Toys deal!

It's on at Tesco Bursledon Southampton. I got 3 kids annuals priced at £3.99 each so £7.98 for all 3. Thats £2.66 each

Thanks OP. I went to Bradford Tesco today. Signs everywhere 3 for 2 on all toys. Loads of toys.Managed to get lego and star wars blaster for my son.

Saved me some money though as I came out without spending anything!!!

I bought 2 transformers on Wednesday for £30 each, was going to take them back but just checked and they have put them up to £40 each to make up for the 3 for 2 no doubt, sneaky !
