pay off debt - you'll feel better for it and it's better to start married life with a clean slate.
also the quicker you pay off your debt the more you save in interest.
why don't you post your statement of affairs on the debt free wannabee site and get some advice on how to payoff your debt as quickly as possible.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

I agree - we had loads of debt after we were married and it was a pain not being able to afford to sort out our house etc.Stercus accidit0

just to say what the above to said,
better to wait6 months, a year, five years what ever
clear what ever debts you have and start fresh rather than running two debts side by side0 -
You don't have to spend big on a wedding. We went to Scotland with family and a couple of friends and had a great time at little expense.
It's the bride's perogative of course. But we just wanted to get married - we didn't feel we had to put on a big show.0
