Well I am getting ready to apply for my first mortgage. Have done my research and will be applying with abbey - don't need a broker.
Before I walk in to the bank will I need anything other than 3 months bank statement, 3 months pay slip and ID??

They will perform a "affordability check". The good thing about it is that there is no credit check at that stage. They will work out how much you will spend on bills etc. At this stage, what you have is all that you will need. Good luck0

Do SOAs one for your current situation and one as if you had bought the place. the transistion between the two should include ALL costs.
