CSA Query regards employment status ??

:jhi , just wanting to know if there is a difference between being employed and self-employed when it comes to csa assessing a case, i am currently employed and paying maintenance via the csa on the 'old rule system' but i was considering setting my own (one man) small business up but how do csa work out a payment if i was self employed ??? thanks.

work it out on pre-tax profits (not taking account of depreciation which is not allowed). Then take off your tax, national insurance and half of your pension conts then the formula is the same.0
