Wii, XBox360 or PS3?

My 7yr old son wants one of these for Christmas:rolleyes:, but i don't know much about any of them.
Which one do you all think would be the most entertaining for him?
Thanks in advance for any advice x

    Tenth Anniversary
I have no experiance with kids, but I would have throught the wii, because they are fun

Xbox and PS3 are better as in they can do more, in terms of online play...but wouldnt imagine a 7 year old wanting to play online much anyway

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I won, I won, I won!
We had a Wii but the kids got bored of it - it had a novelty value but think the games have improved since. DS got a Xbox for his 7th birthday last year and he loves it! His isnt connected to the internet so he cant play online (cos I dont think hes old enouigh - the language on there is awful!) He plays the lego games, simpsons etc and he really likes it.
Think it really depends on the child and what sort of games they would prefer,
  • I would say an xbox. We have got a wii and xbox and the novelty does wear off after a while. There are loads of deals out there for Xbox's at the moment and the games catelog is the biggest. The lego games are great and even i love em and I'm 26!!!

I also agree with ncsmummy, don't go online, language is terrible and people send nasty messages all the time.

    Good luck

Thank you all for your replies, it looks like the XBox is the way to go then!
I had no idea any of them could be connected to the internet! I agree that he is far too young for that.
He has mates round sometimes, but also plays alone.
Our neighbour (who he plays with most) has a PS3, so perhaps if we have something different it will give them more choice.
Thanks again for the replies x
