Various places including Asda and Lidl sell Galpharm Non-Drowsy with Loratadine. I bought a load from Lidl last week. I think it was 79p or 89p for a pack of 7 tablets.

I only take them when I'm actually suffering so four or five packs of pills usually last me the whole season.

  • the cheapest of all hayfever tabs is piriton or chlorpheniramine-
    the original and most effective,
    but unfortunately, the most sedative,
all others are based on this original,
    loratidine is clarityn,
this may be obtained cheaper as a parallel import thru your pharmacist
    -ask,
    hope this helps

Wilkinsons sell loratadine at about 69-80p. Also, tesco sell them for about £1.29.
  • Boots own brand has loratadine too. No idea on the price.

If you're not allergic to Piriton, (and don't intend to drive or operate heavy equipment!!!), larger Boots do a 500 pot for £8.50. But you need to ask at the pharmacy as they really only have them for prescribing.
