I got into trouble just over 5 years ago when i borrowed some money for someone else - I went to Baines & Ernst but they were charging me £100 per month - so i decided to use the £100 i was paying them to get my debt down - i still owe around 20k after all this time is there anything i can do ? If i'd stayed with B&E my debt would be written off.

It would appear you did the right thing going it alone and are much closer to becoming debt free through your own efforts.... good luck0
